Arbitration is type of alternative dispute resolution that exists outside of the justice court system to resolve disputes between two or more parties. Arbitrations can be ad hoc, where the parties agree amongst themselves upon the procedure rules, or administered through an arbitration organisation, where the arbitration rules are already established.
